Multiservice Switches (MSS) (formerly Nortel Passport) of the 7k/15k/20k series of Nortel Networks are high-performance platforms for the access and the backbone of carrier networks. The systems support the integration of video, voice and data services on the basis of conventional LAN and WAN technologies. Moreover, they offer numerous proprietary features. The course at hand imparts both the theoretical and practical know-how required for the integration of an MSS into an existing network, as well as for the maintenance of operation in a network.
