Training Agenda Benelux Jan-June 2009
Consolidation and centralization are essential tasks of enterprise IT departments, which in recent times have to exploit all options to save costs. At the same time, a consolidated and centralized IT infrastructure is a prerequisite for the implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery solutions. Very often, however, reaching this aim is accompanied by a growing dissatisfaction of the users. This can be avoided. The course shows where problems may occur and how they can be avoided. Participants will be enabled to analyze existing solutions and to implement new technologies. They will be able to evaluate the concepts of different vendors and to create customized solutions.

Detailed Table of Contents

In this course of the ExperTeach Networking series, each student will receive the comprehensive ExperTeach course documentation.

Target Group
The course addresses employees responsible for the centralization and consolidation of applications, services, data, and hardware. Technical decision-takers, consultants, and pre-sales staff will learn which technologies should be applied for which purpose and why. The course, thus, helps participants to analyze and explain which new technologies can be used to solve existing problems.

Knowledge Prerequisites
Even if the typical problems faced during consolidation and centralization frequently have intricate technical causes, the successful attendance of the course only requires a basic understanding of the IT world. Where deeper know-how is required, the knowledge will be imparted in the course.
