Besides the mere basic configuration, topics such as VLANs and trunking, dynamic routing with EIGRP or OSPF, access control lists and NAT variants are treated. This course comprises numerous practical exercises on the test network, amounting to about 50% of the course contents. The contents of this course are verified in the CCNA(r) certification. The course prepares the student for the exam 640-816 (ICND2) that combined with exam 640-822 (ICND1) leads to the CCNA(r) certification.
