This course enables engineers to design scalable, reliable, and intelligent Data Center Unified Computing solutions based on Cisco Unified Computing System. It covers the design and deployment of a UCS system in an environment of Cisco Nexus Switches, Converged Nertwork Adapters (CNAs) & Cisco VIC, MDS SAN Switches and VMware server virtualization products.
After the course, students can assess an existing data center infrastructure, determine the specifications and develop a virtualizes Solution based on the products mentioned above. The course prepares for the Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Design Specialist exam 642-993.

Knowledge Prerequisites
If you aim for a Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Design Specialist cerrtification, you need to pass the VMware Design Exam (VCD311) first. Afterwards, one of two options is requested:
• Valid Cisco Data Center Storage Networking Design Specialist and Cisco Data Center Networking Infrastructure Design Specialist certifications
• Valid CCDA and successfully completed Exam 642-978 (DCUCD Qualifier Exam)
