Networks for Data Center make demands which exceed those of normal enterprise networks by far. In this course, participants learn to design a network for Data Center with optimum availability, scalability, performance, and security. As basic tools, Catalyst 6500 and Catalyst 4948 switches, as well as their firewall services modules, intrusion detection services modules, and network analysis modules are used. The course treats a hierarchical model with core layer, aggregation layer, and access layer, as well as the infrastructure required for a centralized management. The contents of this course prepare the participant for the exam 642-961 (CDCNID) as Cisco Data Center Networking Infrastructure Design Specialist.
Course Contents
