The Check Point SecurePlatform offers a hardened Linux distribution on the basis of Red Hat Linux, which is specially designed for the application in security-critical environments. To facilitate the configuration, Check Point also provides the appropriate tools. VPN-1 NGX can be operated on this platform. This makes it possible to use a Linux computer as a security gateway. The course enables the participant to prepare a computer with SecurePlatform for the application as a security gateway with VPN-1 NGX.
