Comprehensive theoretical know-how is one thing, its practical implementation is quite another. This also applies to the security sector. A CCIE Security is expected to protect a network effectively from attacks on any layer. The certification therefore not only demands comprehensive theoretical know-how. Practical experience with regard to security on Cisco components has to be proved in the scope of a lab exam. Before taking the exam, the students need to gather intensive experience with complex security scenarios, their implementation in a test network, and systematic troubleshooting.
Course Contents
The course focuses on the hands-on preparation for the Security lab exam. Special configurations and troubleshooting will be carried out.
