This workshop is designed as an additional training day subsequent to the Crossbeam XOS Specialist course. It deals with the installation of Check Point VPN-1 VSX NGX on an X-Series chassis. In addition to the installation, advanced topics like dynamic routing and debugging will also be treated.

• Installation of Check Point VPN-1 VSX NGX on the X-Series
• Troubleshooting for VSX under XOS
• Clustering
• Configuration of Virtual Switches and Virtual Systems
• Configuration of OSPF on Virtual Systems
• Implementation of Layer-2 Virtual Systems
Target Group
The course addresses administrators and technicians who wish to install, configure, and operate Check Point VPN-1 VSX NGX on an X-Series chassis.
Knowledge Prerequisites
Participants require profound networking knowledge, particularly on TCP/IP, routing, and security Moreover, basic know-how of Web technologies and authentication methods is necessary. Being familiar with Check Point VPN-1 NGX and the Check Point Smart Dashboard would be advantageous; profound experience in the operation of these products would be helpful. Moreover, the course participants should have an understanding of the functional scope of Check Point Provider-1.
