This workshop is designed as an additional training day subsequent to the Crossbeam XOS Essentials course. It deals with the installation of Check Point VSX NGX on a Crossbeam XOS chassis. In addition to the installation, advanced topics like dynamic routing and debugging will also be treated.

• Preparing the X-Series platform for VSX installation
• Installing and configuring the VSX application
• Installing a VSX Cluster on a Crossbeam VAP Group
• Optional: Online Test for the certification
Target Group
The course addresses administrators and technicians who wish to install, configure, and operate Check Point VPN-1 VSX NGX on an X-Series chassis.
Knowledge Prerequisites
Participants require profound networking knowledge, particularly on TCP/IP, routing, and security. Moreover, know-how of the Crossbeam system architecture as taught in the course Crossbeam XOS Essentials is required.
