CCVP Certification – UCM 6.0

The CCVP certification recognizes the increased importance placed on IT professionals of today who are responsible for integrating voice technology into underlying network architectures. Individuals who earn a CCVP certification can help create a telephony solution that is transparent, scalable, and manageable. Earning a CCVP certification validates a robust set of skills in implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting a converged IP network.

There are CCVP certifications based on the Unified Communications Manager 5.0 or on the Unified Communications Manager 6.0. A valid CCNA certification is required as a prerequisite in both cases.

For the CCVP certification based on the Unified Communications Manager 6.0 Cisco recommends to attend the following courses:

2	CVOICE - Cisco Voice over IP v6.0 Exam 642-436
3	CIPT1 - Implementing Cisco Unified Communications IP Telephony v6.0 Part 1 Exam 642-446
4	CIPT2 - Implementing Cisco Unified Communications IP Telephony v6.0 Part 2 Exam 642-456
5	TUC - Troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communication Systems Exam 642-426

CCVP certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum, or pass a current CCIE written exam.
