The students have the option to prepare themselves additionally and free of charge for the exams in the Cisco Learning Network. The CCNP certification will remain valid for three years. For CCNP recertification, it is sufficient to pass any exam from the series of Professional level courses in the area of general certifications. The passing of any CCIE theory exam also leads to the automatic recertification.
