CCDE Certification

The CCDE certification comprises sophisticated, vendor-independent network design principles, theory, and analysis, as well as strategic architectural concepts, which exceed the network. The CCDE certification, which is equivalent to the award-winning CCIE(R) certification, is a label of distinction for the growing number of networking experts, who have acquired a profound knowledge in the field of infrastructure design and are, thus, able to evaluate the business requirements made on a network and implement them by means of efficient network design.

The CCDE certificate includes an exam in two steps: a qualification examination and a practical examination. The ADVDESIGN) 352-001 qualification examination is a two-hour multiple choice test, which assesses the basic knowledge on theories, protocols, and technologies applied for networks. The qualification exam is already available worldwide in Pearson VUE test installations. The second (practical) exam is an 8-hour, scenario-based examination. For a CCDE certification, a written exam and a practical exam have to be passed.
