Earning a CCVP certification validates a robust set of skills in implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting a converged IP network.
There are CCVP certifications based on the CallManager 4.1 or on the Unified Communications Manager 6.0. A valid CCNA certification is required as a prerequisite in both cases.

CCVP certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum, or pass a current CCIE written exam.
